Claxton Fernandez Jr./Owner-President

With childhood origins from the state of Hawaii, Claxton now has invested a future in Oregon and has made this his home.  Attending school at Oregon State University and subsequently graduating from Western Oregon University.  While pursuing a variety of careers, Claxton has found ultimate success in the Heavy Civil Sector. Claxton has had the opportunity to familiarize himself extensively and embody his passion.  He was able to quickly climb the ranks to serve as a Laborer, Operator, Lead Operator, Foreman and Superintendent for many years.  Claxton has worked for some of the largest firms in the state while overseeing high public profile jobs.

With the experience and knowledge gained, Claxton decided to start his own company (Ohana) which is now known as Hilea Excavating LLC.
